Our Epic Battle and CONCURE (i know it's conquer) for Eczema!!

Wow! Who knew doing something this easy would literally cure her eczema? Seriously I wish I knew this when she broke out with it 7 months ago. She had it all over her cheeks, elbows, wrists, behind her knees, and all over her back. It was really gross looking and I always tried to put her in long shirts or jackets so nobody else would see it. Getting naked baby pictures done was a joke, they had to edit the heck out of them to try and hide the redness. Not to mention all the money spent on expensive baby lotions made especially for eczema. Although this one really helped out a lot!

We also tried eliminating things in my diet because they say eczema could be triggered by food allergies but whatever I did it stayed the same. We switched her soaps for bath time to a scent-free, DOVE bar soap so the soap residue isn't as heavy and drying on her skin. We also changed her laundry detergent to Purex Baby Soft which is hypoallergenic, dye free and everything. This has been a LONG Battle with this stupid stuff!! I was obsessing over it a little much but finally a cure!!
The Cure: Ok so there's 2 things I did, not just one but still it's working and I'm amazed! I've slowly introduced WHOLE MILK to her (this isn't a topic of discussion; it was a very hard decision for me to do as doctors say don't introduce anything like that until they are at least 1 years old, but when you have a baby weaning herself from breastmilk and I'm drying up and she's not getting the fat she needs and won't even touch formula with a 10 foot pole, well.... what do you do?) So yes my daughter is drinking WHOLE MILK and just with that alone her eczema is clearing up and fast.
The second thing I started trying a few days ago was after her bathtime at night I would lather her with her AWESOME lotion (which I did alone and didn't work) and then put vaseline on those spots to lock in the moisture!! That's it!! How easy right? Anyways if I took pictures of it I would show you before and after photos but I don't... Sorry

Ya no problem.. I was searching the internet desperate for different solutions other than bleach baths and jazz and came across a blog that the lady had the same problem and did that... figured couldn't hurt any... and i didn't want to go to a steroid cream... that is my last resort... :)
